Who are we?

Artmérik International is the first North American practice firm. We are a member of both the Community Economic Development Corporation (CEDC) - Quebec and the Quebec Chamber of Commerce. Artmérik International collaborates with the picture framing company Les Encadrements Ste-Anne, the Brousseau-Brousseau Inuit Art Gallery and the Beauchamp Art Galleries.

Located in the Québec O'Sullivan College's Networking and Multimedia Pavilion situated at the heart of the Saint-Jean-Baptiste area, our corporation specializes in virtual art sales of Canadian and Quebec reproductions, lithography and oil paintings. Artmérik International has also included in its virtual sales program objects such as Inuit sculptures and contemporary art.

Practice firms function like real corporations ... with the same type of administrative powers, but without any actual productivity. In a virtual re-creation of a commercial market, they interact with each other within a structured network. This is a fictitious market which offers the same advantages as those of a real work environment.

These are simulated corporations. Since there is no productivity, there is no merchandise to be delivered. There is no exchange of products and of real money. There are neither workshops nor warehouses, but there does exist services such as marketing, accounting, secretarial and so on. We carry out only the service sector of a classic SME (small and medium enterprise).

Artmérik is both a distributor and retailer of art and sells its products just like a real corporation. This practice firm evolves within the realm of fictitious corporations and interacts with 4,500 other practice firms.
